Beyrick De Vries:

Beyrick (13) from Umhlanga Rocks, KZN, has been surfing just over three years, and in that short space of time has improved dramatically.  He was recently crowned KZN u14 boys champion for 2006, after winning all the trials and placing 1st seed. 

Beyrick was also voted KZN's most consistent surfer as he has made the finals of every contest in 2006 for his age group.  He was narrowly beaten into 2nd place in the recent SA Champs.

Beyrick has passion for surfing like no other.  He is always the 1st in the water and the last to leave.  He is embarking on his first overseas adventure to Australia soon to take on the international talent.
